Making almond milk creates a by-product that can be transformed into flour for cooking and baking. In an effort to use our local food resources to the fullest, we buy the pulp from The Living Apothecary's almond milk production, dehydrate it and grind it into flour for a number of our recipes. This is a wonderful gluten-free flour that can be used in both sweet and savory dishes, provided by your local "nourishing networks"!
