Fresh strawberries are gently simmered until tender, then mixed with Straus butter and raw honey for a delicious spread that contains no refined sugar and is more nutrient-dense and balanced than jam. It is wonderful on toast, of course, but it can also be stirred into yogurt, dolloped on pancakes or waffles, or just eaten out of the jar (honey butters are suggested in the GAPS diet to quell sweet cravings).
