Tendy43 is an urban farm focusing on microgreens and cut flowers. The farm is part of the program, Farms to Communities, which is run by Growing Together Bay Area (growingtogetherprojects.org)
Growing Together is a non-profit working to improve the health and sustainability of school communities by greening schoolyards, providing youth environmental education, planting trees, & increasing fresh food access at over 30 public schools across Oakland, West Contra Costa, & San Lorenzo Unified School Districts. They are cultivating more place-based & resilient food systems by sourcing fresh food from local, organic, and sustainable farmers and offering it directly to school communities at affordable prices.
This local farm is located in El Sobrante, CA, where Oscar cultivates a bunch of microgreens, salad mixes, edible flowers, and more!
Radish microgreens are one of the most popular and also highly nutritious! This microgreen tastes exactly like radish and is crunchy, zesty, and peppery.
