Pastured pork and grassfed beef are sauteed with minced onions, garlic, minced green olives, capers, raisins, tomato paste, and seasonings. Picadillo makes a great filling for tacos or empanadas, is delicious served over polenta or rice, or can be eaten like chili--by itself in a bowl. In Cuba this dish is traditionally eaten with black beans and rice.
